3. Selling: Sell a small, specific amount of each item to Brian. As the shop’s stock of an item increases, the price he is willing to pay decreases.
4. World Hopping: Once you have sold the optimal amount, hop to a new world and repeat the process.

• Variable Factors: Profit depends heavily on current GE prices and how many other players are using the method on the same worlds.

High Alching Method

Buying items from the Grand Exchange (GE) and using High Alchemy on them for profit is a classic and reliable OSRS money-making method. This method allows you to simultaneously train your Magic level while making gold, typically yielding between 250k and 570k GP per hour.

How the Method Works:

The core principle of High Alchemy is converting an item into coins equivalent to 60% of its base shop value, which often results in a profit if you buy the item for less than that value on the GE. 

1. Requirements: You need level 55 Magic and access to a bank (Varrock West Bank is popular for this).
2. Rune Costs: Each cast costs 1 Nature rune and 5 Fire runes. To save money, use a  Staff of Fire to get free fire runes.
3. Efficiency: You can “alch” noted items directly from your inventory, allowing for continuous casting without constantly withdrawing items from the bank.
4. Speed: You can cast High Alchemy up to 1,200 times per hour, making it an efficient way to generate both gold and Magic XP simultaneously.

Profitable Items:

Profitability constantly changes with the market. Items that are typically reliable for a small profit include:

• Rune Platebody: Buy for ~38,369 GP, Alch for 39,000 GP, giving ~547 GP profit per alch.

Mining Runite Ore

Mining Runite Ore is one of the highest-profit gathering methods available to free players it requires 85 Mining, typically yielding between 500k and 650k GP/h.

How the Method Works:

• The Resource: At level 85 Mining, you can mine Runite rocks to obtain Runite ore.
• Experience: Each ore grants 125 Mining XP.
• Respawn Time: Runite rocks have an exceptionally long respawn time of 12 minutes. In some competitive areas like the Wilderness or Mining Guild, this timer may be halved to 6 minutes.
• World Hopping: Because of the long respawn, the most efficient strategy is to mine the rock and immediately hop to another world to check for unmined ore. 

Locations (F2P)

There are only two main areas where F2P players can find Runite rocks:

Requirements & Location

• Requirement: Level 31 Prayer to enter the monastery.
• Location: The Edgeville Monastery, located just west of Edgeville.
• The Spawn: Both the  Monk’s robe (top) and  Monk’s robe (bottom) spawn on a table on the first floor (UK) / second floor (US), accessed via a ladder in the southeast corner. 

How the Method Works

• Step-by-Step: Climb the ladder, enter the room to the north, and pick up both the robe top and bottom from the table.
• World Hopping: The items have a 60-second respawn timer. To maximize efficiency, immediately switch worlds after picking them up instead of waiting.

Requirements and Access

• Quest: You must start The Corsair Curse to access Corsair Cove. You must complete the quest to use the bank located east of the dungeon.
• Location: The shamans are located in the Corsair Cove Dungeon. You can travel there by talking to Captain Tock at the Port Sarim docks (before the quest) or Cabin Boy Colin in Rimmington (after the quest).
• Recommended Stats: At least 45+ Ranged or 13+ Magic if safespotting. For melee, higher combat stats (60+) are recommended. 

The Method

• Combat Style: Most players use  Ranged or  Magic because Ogress Shamans can be safespotted. They use magic attacks that can only reach 4 squares; standing 5+ squares away keeps you safe.
• Gear: If not safespotting, wear  Green Dragonhide armour for its high Magic defense.
• Inventory: Bring Nature and Fire runes to cast High Alchemy on the rune equipment they drop. This allows you to stay in the dungeon indefinitely without banking.
